We’re looking for a search focused Account Manager to assist with department and company growth initiatives. This position is key to establishing client satisfaction and serves as the liaison between the strategist and the client partner. The Account Manager has skills in reading the room, has insights into identifying priorities, and demonstrates professionalism in every situation and circumstance.

What we need from you

  • Willingness and ability to exemplify core agency principles: Caring, Curiosity, Competitiveness
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or similar field
  • 3 or more years of experience in managing client relationships and projects
  • Basic knowledge of HTML  WordPress
  • A working knowledge of SEO (onsite and offsite) and how it applies to content marketing
  • Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), best practices and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, & respond to changes quickly

  • Demonstrated experience assessing and understanding multiple facets of client businesses, including but not limited to: Business type (B-2-B, B-2-C)
    • Industry vertical
    • Target market(s) 
    • Marketing goals, objectives, and benchmarks 
    • Key performance indicators
    • Business Objectives
    • Customer lifetime value
  • Ability to work proactively with internal agency teams to ensure client objectives are executed on-time and within budget
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skill
  • Experience fulfilling dual roles related to client campaign execution:
    • Manage projects of varying complexity, length, and scope
    • Intermediary between client and internal agency teams 
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously across client list and various internal agency team
  • Experience using project management platforms beneficial but not mandatory
  • Possess basic working knowledge of – or demonstrate ability to learn – the following platforms, as well as articulate the role each plays in a client’s digital marketing plan:
    • Google Search Console
    • Google Analytics
    • Google Business Profile
    • Google Tag Manager
    • Google Ads
    • Bing Ads
    • Facebook Ads
    • LinkedIn Ads
    • Division D, Simpli.fi, StackAdapt (or other programmatic platforms)

  • Set up new client projects within all appropriate systems
  • Track assignments and communicate client requests and concerns to appropriate team members
  • Monitor any client changes or program requests so that proper billing and team tasks are updated accordingly
  • Set up, monitor, and participate in client meetings and build client relationship through trust, and the achievement of client goals
  • Work with strategist to manage projects to client’s satisfaction
  • Review and understand data as presented by strategists, to better be able to discuss and clearly present monthly reports with clients
  • Support and demonstrate company core values and fundamentals
